2020 was the toughest year many people had ever faced, until they faced 2021. With constant attacks on our health, bodily autonomy, livelihoods, and society as we know it, sometimes I wonder how we have come this far. As an online small-business owner, I was not affected by the shut-downs in the same capacity as other small-businesses. I expected essential oil sales to skyrocket, but my sales actually plummeted through 2021. They have not yet stabilized, and part of that seems to be social media sources censoring my posts. I was, in fact, guilty of posting anti-fear media during the first stages of the lock-downs.
America was founded on principles of freedom. It was founded in deep rooted truths, not whims of a few men’s imaginations. Our Constitution was formed by men who were determined to create a document that would protect our God-given rights. Liberty would propel our civilization into informed and accountable citizens who would never allow tyranny to overtake our Republic. Frederic Bastiat told us that it takes a diligent and constant watch to keep government in check, and Benjamin Franklin told us that the framers of the Constitution gave us a Republic, “if [we could] keep it.” Have we lost our Republic? The United States of America is at a crossroads never before seen or imagined. We have slept while the enemy stole our industry, corporations, resources, and education systems. We were nightly programmed by enemy puppets, who told us lies and censored truth. For how long has this gone on? For how long will it continue? The answer is in your hands, Americans. In the words of Jonathan Mark Foreman of Switchfoot: Don’t close your eyes. This is your life and today is all you’ve got now. And today is all you ever have. Don’t close your eyes. This is your life. Are you who you wanna be? This is your life. Is it everything you dreamed that it would be when the world was younger, and you had everything to lose? For the children who still have everything to lose, stand up and be who you’re made to be. Have confidence in your God-given strengths, to be and live out that dream.
